We used to have a cheesy cartoon in the 80s called Banana Man. Every time this kid called Eric ate a banana he turned into the aforementioned superhero. So I 'd have been tempted to sing the tune to that.

And ofcourse I'm wishing your Dad a full and fast recovery still.
