You can probably use the Project Puppet Mostro pattern for the body. You may have to elongate the neck a bit. His arms are kinda like Gonzo's, long and skinny. His head is really round, so search the internet for a round head pattern. Project Puppet makes a Rotundo pattern, but that is more like Ernie/Count Von Count. Good luck! Grover is such fun. :super:

Step 1: Get retriculated Foam Blue short fur and Arm rods at http://www.lunaspuppets.com/ For 10 Bucks. Tell him Sabaro sent You.

Step 2: Print out this Pattern http://img2.pict.com/1d/ee/be/3754573/0/1278251272.jpg Cut it out and Trace it over the foam with a marker then cut the foam piece out.

Step 3: Use Elmer's super glue to glue It together.

Step 4:Get short blue fur. Ask kevin from LunasPuppets where do you get your faux fur By email

After you order it trace that pattern over the non furry side of the fur

cut it out and glue it over the head. HAVE FUN! sorry. I was to lazy to Add more steps. :-P

LOL! Yup. I used to go to Schools and The kids would make their own Replicas. They reenacted The Bohemian Rhapsody Muppet Spoof. It brung atear to my eye That I'm helping kids Fulfill their dreams And learn about The Muppets :-}The Shyest ones always try their best. The Yap Yap YAPS Give up too easily. Also For grovers eyes Cut of the tips of plastic spoons and Make pupils. I'll give you a template. Oh and for His "Cute little Pink Nose" Use a pink pom pom. Like this http://thisandthat4you.com/Qstore/uploads/10174-46.jpg And use a T pin to attach it.

JoseG-i recently found this thread, and I am making a cookie monster replica right now! I was wondering, how did you make your head? is there any foam in it? Did you sew it all and THEN put foam in? Or did you sew the fleece around the mouthplate...?

I was just reading this thread because I want to do one to use at my class but the links to the images don't work anymore. Do you know the new URLs?
