The idea I saw had the family of Twiddlebugs scaled down to fit in with the other figures (not totally scaled down, but small enough to work). Similar to the Doozers coming in the new Gobo figure. NECA usually throws in a smaller figure or figures into their packs.

If we get the Twiddlebugs with the accessory pack then I'm okay with that being labelled as Volume 6. It could be the main family of Thomas (blue), Tessie (lavender), Timmy (orange/pumpkin), and Tina (red/magenta); or it could be a group of other miscellaneous Twiddlebugs we the fans can name whatever we want.

Or if the pack comes with the Sesame Street sign/lamppost, then I'd be okay if they included a figure of Little Bird (and maybe a Muppet number 1 as a reference to the Numerosity sketch).

All we can do is wait for whenever the announcement gets made later this month, perhaps after D23 with the spotlight on the Muppet line next weekend.

I saw a Facebook post that guessed volume 6 could be a surprise accessory set. NECA is known for doing them and they have mentioned wanting to do one. It would be a quicker and easier to produce product.

If they did, I imagine it would have a brick wall, street lamp and Sesame Street sign, Big Bird's skates and Mr. Hooper picture, the Muppet bats that were cut from Count, some numbers and/or letters, and maybe the cut accessories from Oscar.

I was starting to agree with someone's theory that it would be Reporter Kermit and make sense to save for D23, but the accessory pack does make a lot of sense. Feels like it would've been a haphazard mess to display at SDCC, but that still shouldn't have stopped them.

I'd take an accessory set for Slot 6 if they could throw in one of the smaller Sesame Street characters, like Prairie Dawn or Roosevelt Franklin. Otherwise, just release it as a purchase alongside one of the regular figure releases.

I'd be happy with a smaller character being included, but I want Prairie Dawn to be paired with Betty Lou. In my opinion, those two have to come together.

You guys are forgetting that this is one of NECA's "Ultimate" lines, so any figure even if it's a multi-figure pack will have to come with either interchangeable heads and/or hands for the figures included. Plus, this being the Sesame Street line, any major figure will be packed with their appropriate accessories and a Muppet letter (or more) or number if they decide to swerve us.

As for the accessory pack, there's nothing said yet that's what we're getting labelled as "Volume 6". But if and I stress if it is, I prefer the option of the Twiddlebugs included in the pack or Little Bird or any other small sidekick pack-in character like those rather than someone like Prairie Dawn or Roosevelt Franklin who should be separate releases in my opinion.

This is a Muppet News Flash Mupdate!

After three long summer months, my NECA Volume 5 Big Bird finally arrived! Yes, the rare giant turkey landed at my home's doorstep this afternoon and I've now gotten him added to the shelf. Placing him next to the other figures, you really get a measure of just how tall is, towering even over Super Grover's phone booth. In terms of articulation/posability, he's kind of similar to setting up a Christmas tree.

First you have to deal with the legs and feet like the tree's trunk and stand. Then there's the lower bottom torso segment, middle torso segment, upper torso segment with his arms, tall neck, and finally the head, and it all has to be aligned for him to stand up and not tilt back or lean to the sides. If NECA were to acquire the Kingdom Hearts franchise, they could easily use this Ultimate Big Bird figure as a template for constructing the Trickmaster Heartless fought as the Heartless boss of Wonderland.

The way I got posed is him holding Radar in his left upturned palm and the letter B at his feet. Also liked that his necktie and scarf are plastic molded pieces, but moreso that the loops are also molded plastic so all you have to do is slip either over the bird's neck.

Now all that's left is for Volume 6 to be revealed, hopefully this weekend if that's when the 2026 Target Fall Geek Out starts. Now, to hail the arrival it's time to spread the word.

If NECA were to acquire the Kingdom Hearts franchise, they could easily use this Ultimate Big Bird figure as a template for constructing the Trickmaster Heartless fought as the Heartless boss of Wonderland.

That would be awesome. It's too bad Mirage never got to it when they put out those two KH1 waves in the early aughts.
