I’d keep an eye out on NECAS social media. They seem to be dumping a lot of pre-order & coming out soon posts for stuff first shown at Toy Fair at the moment. Well everything BUT Sesame & Muppets

Nice. The season 1 head makes him essential, but there's just too many cuts in the body that it really affects his aesthetic appeal.

I'm ok with the cuts on the body, though I wish there was a better way to do those arms. Unfortunately that is the nature of action figures. They could have done a soft material with an articulated skeleton, but it also would have made the figure far more expensive. Once the figure is posed it will be less noticeable though.

I really hope this starts shipping soon. The release date says Q3 so hopefully it's early Q3 and i hope the final Oscar figure is shown soon as well.

I think I prefer Palisades' version, sacrificing articulation for a better look (they also had a better head sculpt too).

Some of the torso and neck cuts seem pretty unnecessary, like how often do we see Big Bird twisting at the waist? And the two neck cuts close together is certainly a choice; seems like one would've sufficed.

Enough criticism from me though. Still a solid figure; just wish he didn't look like a Transformer.

Do y'all think Big Bird will come out before SDCC on the 23rd? I was hoping that figure would be out beforehand, and SDCC would serve as an opportunity to show production samples of Oscar, the next figure. At this point, I assume they'll be highlighting the final Big Bird figure at the show. The line is great but so slow.

Yeah... the line is really slow this year, it's kind of disappointing, I hope that we will get at least two more figures before the end of this year

I think he might though it’s a double edged sword. If he comes out this month great! But we’ll be back to square 1 of not knowing when the next figure is. If the comes out during SDCC at least we would know when the next figure is. I wonder if we’ll see Herry & Sherlock Hemlock if the rumour there to come out in winter is anything to go by.

I just wish they’d show something. With the horror Fortnite figures pre-order on Monday everything that NECA showed off at toy fair has a pre-order apart from Sesame & the Muppets. I’m starting to fear they might be Ultramates & that’s why we haven’t seen them…
