guys do you think that neca gonna reuse mr johnson's body to make simon the soundman?
I hope a Simon head is included in the set. In his interview with Veebs, Trevor noted that Mr. Johnson is a whatnot Muppet that can be used to make multiple characters. It would take a little bit of customizing to turn a Mr. Johnson head into a Simon one. I plan to buy at least 3 sets to make Simon, Big Jeffie, and Bobbity and Mo Frackle out of the Grovers. I'll have to listen to that part of the interview again to see if he's implying buying multiple set for customizing or that it will be easy for NECA to release other Fat Blue characters.

Do y'all think Big Bird will go up for pre-order before Toy Fair in mid-February? I think pre-orders will start at the end of January, so NECA doesn't have another show without any new Sesame Street characters going up for sale. I think the next figure will also get shown at Toy Fair and will go up for pre-order shortly after, maybe mid-March. My current guess is Cookie Monster.

I'm not a fan of how small Mr. Johnson is. I feel like sometimes you just have to go with the eye test/whatever feels right vs whatever style guidance they were given

Off-memory I think they were referring to fans making customs.

If we end up with Grover as tall as Neca's Bert figure and Mr. Johnson as tall as Palisades's Ernie figure I'd be okay with that difference.

I believe that neca mr johnson scale was based on that photo from muppet wiki - Mr. Johnson on display at the somebody come and play exhibition
Since Muppet sizes vary so much depending on characters in the shot, I don't get too concerned about the sizes of the figures, unless it's way off (like the DST Rizzo). Though, even that figure's scale didn't bother me too much. The only thing that would really bother me is if the scale of the line creeps over time. DST kind of did that with Rizzo and Sam both being to big and the end of the line, but that wasn't too extreme or broad across figures. Even the Palisades line kinda did that with later series figures being taller. Though, that might just be due to character selection.

I really hope the NECA line persists for many years, and the later figures remain consistent with Bert, Ernie, and Count. Where's Big Bird?
