Now that I have a Count figure, and he is becoming available at more places, I'm starting to get eager for the next figure. Will it be Herry Monster? I think the NECA folks said he was further along than Big Bird and Oscar. Whichever figure it is, I hope it goes up for pre-order soon. Maybe it will be in July or August, since Count is supposed to ship from most online stores in June.

I also hope NECA has a couple more figures on display at SDCC. I'm guessing Cookie Monster and Guy Smiley will be next, but I'd be happy with any classic Sesame Street Muppet.

Few things I have to say, was waiting for someone else to post first though.

1 Yes, I will get the NECA Count von Count figure, I'm just waiting for other retailers to have the figure available to see how much the S&H costs will be, because I have to say that at $70 per figure ($35 for the figure itself and another $35 for shipping) I just can't justify supporting the line as much as I would want to do so.
2 If the lineup of , , and Herry Monster is tagged as NECA's "Volume 2"... And we know that they're packing Muppet letters to spell out the word "NECA", then my questions become:
a. Which figure will the Muppet letter E come with?
b. Does this mean that the Muppet letter E still be based on the female E from the Letter of the Day pageant as previously rumored?
c. Will they end up making a newly sculpted Muppet E if it's not coming with Guy Smiley?
3 As for future figures... I would say is a safe bet since out of Bert, Ernie, Oscar, Count, and Cookie, the latter's the only character from the current Toony Television Classics Sesame Street line not part of the Ultimate figures line, yet.
4 It was stated that NECA would also be making vinyl Sesame Street figures. Any news on that line or have they been dropped altogether?

Good questions, Count. The Count figure is also available on Big Bad Toy Store for $42 and $4 shipping. With taxes, that's still closer to $50. I agree, these prices are making it tough to collect the line.

The Vinyl figures are coming from Super7. There's a SDCC exclusive Orange Martian that's the first announced. I posted a photo in the Super7 thread.

Hey guys I just saw some new sesame street figures from sdcc 2025
and those figures are grover and mr johnson
i'm just so excited for them, and also that line is going pretty strong from what I can tell,
and they also have really great selection of the characters
