National Novel Writing Month

It's almost Nano time of year again ! The last time I actually tried very hard I only made it to 25 k but hopefully I will do better this year, I did skip a couple days after all If anyone wants to friend me my username is BubblegumUnicorn (not a unicorn who is the color of bubblegum, not a unicorn that likes bubblegum, a unicorn made of bubblegum )

I always break the rules and use a story I'm working on and just don't count the first part

Feh.... one can't write a novel in a month! Well, one can't write a very good one.

The point is not to write a good one so much as just write. So many writers simply put off writing all the time so much so that they can hardly be called writers anymore...
This once a year project may seem silly to an outsider but when you actually do it it gives one an odd zen like feeling of actually being able to write 1,000 + words a day . I actually don't use any of the cheats others do and it is fun to push myself and get things done...and it the end it is not that awful a story. I make it a point to still write something I can use, I don't go for that write all month and trow it away way of thinking

Maybe Brian can finish working on that novel he's been working on....

That said, I need to work on writing a graphic novel or sommat...

Whatever makes you happy ! I actually don't follow all the rules save the words a day count, I like to work with a story I'm working on...
