Why didn’t they show Nanny’s face on the Muppet Babies?

Probably because the show was to consist of the kids and their imagination only.

I don't know why, but I always pictured her face to look like baby Beaker's, but with Bunsen's rimmed glasses, long green hair and non-visible pupils... I actually thought I had seen this before, but it's just a false memory.

I mean, it’s common with many cartoons to show only bodies of a character.

Certainly a pet peeve of mine.

I love that we don't see her face, it makes Nanny much more of a mysterious character. Just think... her face could look like ANYTHING or ANYONE! :eek:

Maybe so there's more focus on the kids. Though there are some other shows that didn't show the parents at first and showed them later, like The Loud House.
