Hey Everyone!
just wanted to let everyone know about the feature length puppet movie that I'm creating that will hopefully be in the works soon. It's called Night of the Living Dead Puppets and it's half zombie movie, half puppet movie and all awesome!
I've been learning about puppet building for 5 or 6 years and have built hundreds of prototype zombie puppets and it's finally time to put the rubber to the road and get it done. The project was accepted at kickstarter.com and I'll be raising funding there as well as providing some great rewards!
The movie will feature about 100 zombie puppets and 10-15 "living" puppets. If funding goes through, I'd like to hire a builder or two from this forum (I've seen some amazing builders in the last 6 years I've been on here!) to build the main characters. I'm also going to be looking for some puppeteers from Michigan to help out on the main characters. I'm not the greatest puppet builder in the world, but I have some great ideas and I think it's time for a different type of puppet movie - and the only way that is going to get done is to do it independently.
If you're interested in helping out with funding, lending a hand, giving some feedback, buying a shirt, tossing some words of encouragement or just want to read the blog posts, here is how you can do it:
