Depends on the college and how long you choose to go. See I'm starting my freshman year at the local ITT Tech, but they want me to begin in June so that way I can take afternoon classes (because apparently if I wait till the upcoming fall I'll have to take evening classes), and the county is switching over to the year-round schedule... by this, that means instead of you getting like half a week off for Thanksgiving, two weeks for Christmas, twelve weeks for summer, and national holidays, important people's birthdays, and other "in-service" days off, it's not stop twelve weeks of school then two weeks break, then twelve weeks of school then another two-week break, over and over again; I've been dreading it ever since I heard about it, and now it's finally happening!

Hehe thanks everybody. She's wicked excited. This is how our conversation went when she called, it's pretty funny:

Caitlin: Hey, guess what.
Me: IDK, what?
Caitlin: Guess.
Me: I really hate this game.
Caitlin: I GOT INTO COLLEGE!
Me: YOU DID?!?!?! OMG CONGRATULATIONS!!! WHERE!!!!
Caitlin: SUFFOLK!!!
Me: OMG THAT'S AWESOME!!! CONGRATULATIONS!!! OH I'M SO HAPPY FOR YOU!!!
Caitlin: You were the first person I called.
Me: Oh, really? Wow. What about Mom?
Caitlin: Well, Mom handed me the envelope.
Me: OMG, you have to call Brian next [our cousin Brian goes to Suffolk already].
Caitlin: I sent him and IM.
Me: Oh, haha, so I wasn't the first person you told.
Caitlin: No, but the first person I called. I was supposed to visit him there this weekend but I'm sick so I can't.
Rose (our 7-year-old sister who had picked up the other phone): She's not sick she's GROUNDED!
Caitlin: ROSE GET OFF THE PHONE.
Me: Wha--oh wait, I knew that.
Caitlin: How did you know?
Me: I read your LJ.
Caitlin: Oh yeah. Well, yay anyway.
Me: Oh, that's so great, Cait, I'm so happy for you. Aw, I can't believe you called me first.
Caitlin: Well, I wanted to tell you--
Rose: No she didn't! Mom MADE HER call you FIRST!
Me: WHAT?!?!
Caitlin: ROSE! MOOOOMMMMMMM!!!! ROSE WON'T GET OFF THE PHONE!!!!
Rose: *cackles*

Well, yeah, that's the interesting part of the conversation. A nice little look-see into my family, haha!

Aw, I am just BUBBLING OVER with excitement for her! If this is how *I* feel I can only imagine what she's feeling (well... don't have to imagine too hard... it was only four years ago that I got that first acceptance letter... siigh... how time flies...)

Haha, having a 7-year-old around makes everything in life more enjoyable. My favorite Rose-quote is something she said to Caitlin a couple of years ago. They were in the backseat of the car and she just looked over at her and said, "If you were a piece of tape, I'd crumple you up and sell you on the Internet."

Yes, ladies and gents, that's my sister. Haha!
