Cranny
Here's a new puppet I finished a few weeks ago. His name is Cranny and he's a cranberry-orange scone. The idea came up when a guy at work was fooling around with a scone and making it talk, so I tried to make a puppet for him. It was kind of a bittersweet project because he gave me some trouble while building him but when I got finished I really like hi. Cranny's the first puppet that I did without a pattern and I think he'd be a good template for a different style head. I made him our of felt which was a little harder to work with but I like how it made him look in the end.
Mitch and Cranny. I was hoping to have them best friends if the guy I gave Cranny to wants to ever do it that way.
As always, I'd love to hear your guys opinions. I can't get better if I don't know what I'm doing wrong.
Just a qucick question to anyone who does read this. Do you think this is an effective way of getting feedback or would I grab people's attention more with a new thread for each puppet? I did it this way because I didn't want to clutter up the board.

SOOO awesome!!! Mitch is so cute! Love Cranny too...he does look like a cranberry scone, and he's way better than what you get at Starbucks!

Aww, she's soo cool! I love the face and hair--and the way you used that dress/shirt on her! I've never tried that and have it work so well! Where do you get arm rods like that?

Those rods were just metal rods I got from obby lobby and then I attached wooden dowels to the bottom of them. I feel as if they weren't long enough. in another thread people told me that welding rod works well in the absence of coat hangers works so I'm probably gonna try tha on my next arm-rod one.
