CHAPTER TEN
Kermit was with the sleeping beauty when Fozzie walked to him. "Something's wrong with her." the frog said. "Listen, Piggy won't be acting right for a while." Fozzie said. "Why?" the frog asked. "She has moderate brain damage." the bear told him, "I looked up what it could do and it said...death." "Death?" the frog asked, "As in, not waking up, no pulse, and not breathing?" Fozzie nodded.
Leah walked to Piggy and saw the bruises on her head. "Lucky." she said.
Piggy woke up and started shaking. "Piggy, what happened?" Kermit asked, "A bad dream?" "Yea." she replied. "It's ok." he told her, "I won't let anyone hurt you. Go to sleep." "I can't." she told him, "It's so c-co-cold." "It's 75 in here." Fozzie said.
They watched her to into a deep sleep. Well, they think she's asleep. "Piggy?" Kermit asked, shaking her, "Piggy....Piggy...Piggy, wake up." He got closer to her face. "I can't fell it." he added.
"PIGGY DEAD?" Animal asked. "Piggy dead." Fozzie whispered. He watched his best friend as he tried to save her. "Kermit, she's dead." he told him, "Forget it." Kermit was bawling as he kissed her head. "After all I did to you." he cried, "You had to leave me like this." He ran out the door and ran away.
Animal opened the door. "FROGGY, COME BACK!" he screamed.
Sweetums carried her to her room. Poor, Kermit.
~~~~~~
Kermit stopped running into the woods, fell to the ground, and cried. "Why her?" he bawled, "Kill me, too. She deserve any of this. It has to be all my fault and I didn't mean to hurt her."
After he stopped crying, he decided to go back to the house with the gang.
"KERMIT SAD?" Animal asked. He nodded and rubbed his head. "I saved her." Fozzie said, "She's awake." Kermit went upstairs to his room.
"Piggy..." he gave her a hug, "I'm so sorry. I love you." "I love you, too." she told her.
