Well Mum has had some semi-bad semi-good news.
She has had some results from her tests and there is another lump starting in her throat and yet another one somewhere around her chest area and the original lump in her face is starting to affect the bone.
But they are still confident that the treatment will be helpful it'll be a tough time though.
There's a 75% chance of cure however she'll most likely have to regularly travel to Brisbane City after all since it will be so gruelling with the kimo followed by the radiation. Please keep up your prayers for her. I know with Jesus she is in the best care possible.

Thank you A. David. And my name is Martin but I encourage my forum friends to call me Marty. You may have noticed this in some of my threads but I'll answer to anything as long as you don't call me too late to watch any sort of Henson Muppet Production on television

Thanks Lana.

Some more news. Tomorrow Mum is going to travel to Brisbane for a special test. The doctors are paying for her ticket and Aunt Fran asked if they'd book an extra seat so she could keep her company. They fly down in the morning then after the test they fly straight back up. Please pray for journeying mercies for them and for good results. They are hoping Mum's heart will be able to cope with the chemo treatment. And hopefully it will be here where we live.

Update. Today Mum and Aunt had their trip to Brisbane. Mum's test lasted 4 hours and they should have arrived back at 8pm tonight.
I shall call their home tomorrow.
I've had a good time earlier tonight visiting a friend who is a Presbyterian Christian with another friend who used to be a member of my old Anglican church before abandoning his faith. My other friend and I both assured him Mum is in God's hands. He's a bit of a tough nut to crack though.
He tried to tell me when he dropped me home I need to forget about God and start putting my mother first. I tried to explain that God always needs to come first in my love and that will help me to give Mum the right sort of love she most needs but he has no spiritual understanding at all.
Please remember to pray for him as well as for my Mummy dear friends.
