Thanks for all your thoughts, prayers, and support. It really helps to know people care!

But we have some good news. The colonoscopy Thursday showed that whatever it is, it is not colon cancer. That was a great relief, but the doctor still couldn't tell what it is. So she went through a few more tests (CAT scan and Ultrasound) and it turns out that there is a small pocket of some sort of liquid on the outside wall of her colon.

Now, until they test the liquid, there is still no telling what it might be, but it doesn't look like cancer or anything scary like that. On Monday, her doctor will extract some of the liquid for testing and then we'll go from there.

In the meantime, Mom is home and doing well. She's recovering from the hysterectomy just fine, and with my aunt here to help us take care of things, Dad and my brother and I are all doing fine. My sister and grandparents will be here sometime in the next week or so.

Thanks again for everything... you guys are great!

Oh that's great news! : ' D

My mother had cancer but strangley she recovered rather quickly. I needed to help her by giving her massages or soothing her when the ball in her stomach would react. So it's not fun when I loved one has cancer but thank gosh that your mom did not have cancer. : )

My grandma is in that situaton but I am not at all sad. She is getting old so it's nearly her time to go so I feel no sadness--perhaps a little pinch of loss but I know that :3 She will go peacefully.

I am so happy for your mother! : D
