Hi!

So, I Just finished my Last puppet of the summer, and I call it that because Tomarrow I start school. This puppet I made for my best friend who starts college tomarrow and I made this as his dorm warming present. I made it small so it could fit with the college clutter. The puppet is really a joke because its name is Batt Mouse and for my friends name....just switch the first letters......

Building this puppet I continued playing with new materials. I built it out of old antron fleece and scott foam scraps and used Barge glue for the first time (with respirator) Which was a lot of fun to use. And this puppet is also the First time I made the mouth of exposed scott foam AND the first time I've gotten to dye anything.

Also.......His eyes move

Full Body---These pics I didn't focus his eyes....

Thanks, Yea......the real guy has 5 o clock shadow like that....the puppet is sorta half caricature, half original.

The eyes are actually pretty easy. I just used the tops from roll on deoderants like this http://www.walgreens.com/store/product.jsp?CATID=304733&navAction=jump&navCount=0&id=prod6273

Mine were cheaper though....they were on sale. So I took the tops off and tossed the deoderant. Then put two holes in the the "back" of the roller and put in screw eyes and inside the screw eyes I put a nut and bolt and hot glued those in place. Then I looped a wire around the nut and bolts. The wire serves as the controller.

I'll try to get a picture up...but I was having difficulty drawing it out. I'll figure out a way though...
