I recently discovered this forum and decided to post a picture of two puppets I made recently. Other than playing around with foam on a couple earlier attempts, these are my first real efforts at making nice foam puppets.

My story is not a new one. Loved puppet'ish stuff as a kid. Now with a family of my own, I have rediscovered all the fun things I'd forgotten about. I've performed a couple puppet shows for my kids (and friends), and actually seemed to pull it off fairly well.

Let me know what you think of these characters.

BTW, are we supposed to have this much fun with puppets as adults?

I wanna see, too; but the computer says:

Foam Dude-

YES! Adults are allowed to have fun with puppetry. I too have rejoined the puppet fray after a 20+ year detour into music/zines/radio/video. Welcome back!

If you wish to meet other adults who have fun with puppets I suggest you look at Puppeteers of America
