A little food for thought. Just keep trying and someday you just might be the winner of that prize. If you got that far in fifth place, I bet it has encouraged you to go farther. I like it when I see puppet builders on here and there work. I love there originality and not trying to be like the Muppets or something that has already been done. I see Melonpools work and others and I like the concepts for puppets they work with. As for the contest, I do photography professionally now on the side of my day job, I don't know anything about building puppets, but I do love them as well as movie and tv programs with them, but I kept putting in contest over and over to get the grand prize of $400. Well after I think it was the fifth time, or fourth? I finally won first place grand prize. But to make it even better was that my picture was shown in every Shutterbug store in the northwest, which I felt like a celebraty for a week or so. But I was happy that I finally reached my goal. So don't give up and if you believe in what you do, you will go far and ALWAYS be original...it brings excitement and something different for all of us to enjoy with you creations!
