My Dad

Well thanks to smoking for 45 years and now smoking a little more than an entire pack of cigarettes a day, he is now diagnosed with mild emphysema: his treatment is to take some medicine for it and do the one thing he has failed and never wanted to do: QUIT SMOKING!

It isn't often I ask you guys to do favors for me, but if some of you all can, please keep my dad in your all's prayers.

And on top of all that, my mom has been having emotional break-downs all day long what with having to do all of this Christmas shopping with one hand since he recently-operated shoulder had made her right arm virtually useless for quite some time, and she's just so stressed out!

So yeah, I WILL have to stay strong won't I? Thanks Vic!

When it rains it pours, doesn't it? I hope your dad quits, man I really do. I HATE smoking too, and I've seen it destroy friends and family, but I see how hard it is for them to quit, so I'm sure your dad has trouble seeing why he needs to quit sometimes.
