I have been building and building trying to get a Kermit that is right. This is #4 and is the closest I have come yet. The eyes are a little far apart and the lower lip hangs down a little. I haven't figured out how to get the mouthpiece to be flexible but not too flexible. I also can't figure out how to make the head sit right. I am using some foam in there to fill it up but it isn't right still..

Dunno, thoughts??

Check to make sure the stretch of the fabric is going the right way. Usually, I find that if the stretch goes along the upper mouth plate, I get the best results. I think you also need to add about 1/8 of a inch to the lower lip pattern (so 1/4 inch of fabric more when the pattern is doubled). This will allow the lower lip to relax.

Otherwise, looking good. You should use larger pupils, if you can. That will go a long way to making him look more on model.
