Anyone know where would be a good place to shop for musical instruments for puppets?

I think this has been discussed before, and checking toy stores was suggested. I have checked, and either:

a) they didn't have the instrument I was looking for

b) I'm looking for realistic instruments, and most instruments available in the toys are surrealistic, chunky "Fisher-Price" style stuff. Can you imagine Zoot playing this saxophone?

Have you tried the Munchkin Land Music Store?

Okay, that was just bad. No suggestions, just Oz jokes...sorry.

If you live in large city or even a small one you may be able to find them locally (it's hit and miss in my experience) but your best bet is probably searching on the Internet. Have you tried using Froogle?

Zoot, often you can't just buy what you need off the shelf. Sometimes you have to take a toy and modify it and repaint it.

Oh, Is That how it's done??? Thanks Buck I know......I Modified MY Sax. Because I couldn't find it in just an average store. I waited and watched for one to appear on Ebay. All I was saying in the above....is That From My research the Company "Emenee" has the most realistic likeness to Musical Instruments that I have found. When Making Zoot's Sax I spent alot of time looking at the "Fisher Price" and Other in my opinion Child like looking Instruments. Which I might add....LOL Came In Silver, So thouw thus there I had to Modify and Paint it to fit... Capishhhhhhhhh???? lol
