I think I know this one. It's something to the effect of a piano shaped pet or a pet piano. Anyway, the answer to my question was Rowlf! He was in a number 9 sketch for the first season of Sesame Street!

But didn't he also debut on Jimmy Dean? I don't know I never saw the show, but heard it.
