The clip being referenced: Miley looks at Animal's chain and remarks "Nice bling" to which Animal roars "Bling BLING" - so not only is it a gag about how Animal is the intimidating creature that he is that he has to be chained, but his line is a remark to something said to him (delivered in that Animal-flirt-with-WO-MAN manner!) so that doesn't bother me in the least as opposed to just some random use. It's all about context.
Agreed it is all about context, not like Piggy's "I gotta Pee" comment in MFS, she didn't NEED to say that for any reason, it didn't fit in. In this case, there is a context.

They do look a bit awkward though, i think its them having been dressed up in all the cutesy costumes that makes it seem that way. I hope it doesn't come off as the original Muppets using all these hip words and doing hip stuff and not being themselves.

Also Dr. Teeth at the end of the promo says "Only on Disney Channel." So i'm going to so LOOOOOVE IT!
SWEET! Dr. Teeth is back! I bet a hundred kids were watching that and when he showed up didn't know who he was!

I don't care if Animal said a line that makes "Cowabunga" look like poetry, this looks decent. Plus I never felt Animal even knew what hip was. He just acted like himself. And what he is, is awesome.

Animal has always repeated words spoken to him and this seems like the case. I think it's a tiny bit amusing that his collar is thought of as bling as long as they don't go too far down that road. I see nothing wrong with it. Kermit's, "Way to get down with your bad selves!" line from MFS still makes me cringe. That is what I consider trying to hard to be hip. This is just Animal being Animal in response to a silly question from a young W-O-M-A-N! :halo:

I'm going to like the speical no matter what any of the characters say. It's The Muppets. They've said stuff that i figure wouldn't be apropret anyways but it was ok with the cenceores. And even if Animal said "Bling Bling" doesn't make him a bad character just because he said that. I hate when other get off on not liking a character just because they said some word that they've never said before.
As far as me goes? I never want to hear that word again! I just wused people would stop using it. Even if they dropped the second vling. That would be fine. That word needs to die. it really does. This dumb gangsta player poser fad needs to end, and get tossed with the Hula Hoops and Furbys... never agian to see the light of day.

I rather like the word radical. Baby Rowlf used to say it all that time and he used to go "rad! as well. I also rather like hula hoops.

But I agree that word need to die!
