I don't think he's all that small. When Ken first mentioned that he screwed up, I thought we'd be in for some trouble with Gaffer, but considering he's a cat, he's close enough to in scale with Pops. Sure, he could have been 25% bigger or so, but it's not awful. He fits nicely on the shelf in the backstage too!
