Muppets Series 6 Review and People's Choice Awards

Yep, it's that time of year again - time for the fourth annual People's Choice Awards! Be sure to check out the voting ballot and get your choices in. You don't want your favorite companies, lines or figures losing out, do you? There's also six prize packs up for grabs, with at least four or five figures (and sometimes more) in each pack. Voting will continue through December, and I'll post my best and worst in early January, before posting the big results.

The reviews tonight are on two very different subjects. The first is the latest series of Muppets, wave 6, that includes Statler, Waldorf, Patrol Bear Fozzie, and two versions of Clifford. You remember him, he was the host of Muppets Tonight. Palisades hits another home run with this entire set.

I was looking forward to your review of Series 6! You always do such great work w/ the camera, and write excellent reviews! I think that that's a very good point you made at the beginning of the review They should be thanking the Gods above that Palisades got this license, and not Mattel or Hasbro. I shudder to think. That's so true. I mean, Hasbro's cool with me and all, doing the Transformers and Star Wars figures and all, but let's face it, the Star Wars figures aren't that great.

Some are awesome, some suck. They're getting there with the added articulations and included bases, though... The 12" series has ALWAYS rocked.

True, I haven't gotten a lot of Star Wars figures lately, I'm mainly interested in Yoda, C-3PO, and R2-D2 figures. I've just been spoiled with the Muppet and Lord of the Rings figures, those are wonderful!

All I have of those is the nifty lil bendy Gollum. Man, I've used him in some hilarious shots for my site's "hilarious pictures" page... lol

Yeah! It's cool how Gollum is bendy. LOL! They made one called "super poseable Gollum" but I think he looks ugly

Love your review dude. Nice job, once again. tell me more about how one can win these prize packs... I must know more... I love packs of 4-5 figures with the dream of "maybe more."
I knew I couldn't do a proper review without astounding pics, and I was right. What do you think about those wacky hip articulations for the hecklers??? I would love to hear some feedback...

All voters have a chance to win - I'll draw six names after I clean up the dup emails and votes that don't have emails.

I love the hip joints on Waldorf and Statler. We've seen these used in some other lines like the Rudolph line, or Year without Santa Claus. The work really well for anyone with a pot belly!
