She wanted to be Alice because she heard that Brooke was not herself.
Kemit told her that she was to be the queen. So she ended up playing the queen. But was a little upset about the fact that the queen only has 1 line.

As far as I can recall Floyd is not a blue caterpiller but a green catapiller.
