Chapter 10: Come Together​

Unfortunately, the Bozons always had more troops to spare. Gonzo's team was cornered by two squads coming from opposite sides, armed with ARCWs, or Anti-Rubber Chicken Weapons. They were just about to surrender when Marvin Suggs popped up and conked several troopers on the head, giving them a hole to go through.

Meanwhile, Scooter's team was working their way towards the power core. With Animal's help, they were able to break into the repair catwalk. Scooter asked through the intercom whether or not to destroy it. The answer was: no, not ready yet. Scooter sighed. This meant another boring wait.

Kermit and his team had no idea where they were going when they ran into a cage of security beams. Above, the Bozon leader was laughing. "Why did you do this?" asked Kermit. "Why are you being such a bully?"
The answer wasn't promising. "Just because I can be," the Bozon leader said, "now, WHERE IS THE ONE CALLED GONZO!"
"Are you kidding? I'd never tell you that if my life depended on it!"
"Your life does depend on it." The Bozon leader ordered his pesonal troops to fire. They were loading their weapons when Mahna Mahna and the Two Snowths danced by, singing their signature song, distracting the leader. "Wow, boredom and death," Fozzie remarked. "That song gets us out of everything."

Gonzo's team were in the detention block. Now it only remained to find his parents, set them free, and get out of here. Gonzo opened one door. Blue Frackle and Pink Frackle looked out. "Oops, wrong door," he said, but the furry, beaked aliens came along. Now this was the right door. He opened it, and, sure enough, there were his parents. "Mom! Dad!" he cried, running towards them, "let me help." He took out a pair of scissors and cut them loose. "Gonzo?" they stared in disbelief, "how did you get here?"
"Oh, we just built a spaceship and escaped Boredom and
Bozons," he said casually, "come on, or we'll miss our ride."

Gonzo's team met up with Kermit's. "Where's Scooter?" Rowlf asked."Oh, just about to blow up the mothership," said Kermit, and then into the intercom, "Now, and make a run for it!" In the distance, he heard a faint "RUN FOR IT! RUN FOR IT! AHAHAHAHA!" They'll be here any second," he said, and sure enough, in a second, they were there. The Henson headed back towards the planet as the Bozon mothership erupted in flames.​

Epilogue: old friends who've just met​

The whole of G0n70 was celebrating their freedom from the oppressive Bozons. The Muppets, along with Gonzo's parents, were going to go soon, but first they were saying goodbye to Ubergonzo and the rest of their hosts. Cries erupted from the landing platform as they boarded: "Will you come back?" "You'll write, won't you?" Gonzo was embarrassed that all these people were shouting towards him, and tried to run into the spaceship as fast as possible, but was stopped by Kermit. "Go out," he said, "they're all looking up to you." Gonzo, flustered, came back for one last goodbye. "Goodbye," he said, "but not forever. For I shall return; one day you shall again see my sail - Why am I using all these metaphors? Anyway, just remember: I've been here, and I know the way. I'm going to go back here someday." The crowd cheered. One asked him for his autograph, and he gladly accepted. He then turned back, and, waving the Vulcan "Live Long and Prosper" sign, Gonzo the Great stepped inside, and the S.S. Jim Henson lifted up and zoomed off towards Earth.​
