Hey, at least the movie was sold out, right? It's always nice seeing the Muppets on the big screen, and it's good to know there are other fans out there who feel the same way!

I feel ashamed to post this, but the only Muppet films I have seen in theatres thus far have been only The Muppet Movie (my first-ever movie in a theatre) and The Muppets Take Manhattan. Around 1992 I saw that Muppet 3-D show in Disney World...

The rest (with the exception of Muppet Treasure Island, which I have NEVER seen:embarrassed:) I caught on TV and/or video: The Great Muppet Caper, The Muppet Christmas Carol, Muppets From Space, It's a Very Merry Muppet Christmas Movie (is that the right title?) and The Muppet Wizard of Oz.

Yes it is the right title (It's A Very Merry Muppet Christmas).

But that movie and The Muppet Wizard Of Oz aired on TV.

Yep, that they did! I was excited when I first heard about the Christmas film the summer before it aired. It was enjoyable, as was Oz.

Unfortunately I didn't get to see any in the theater. My cousin and I really wanted to see MTI when it came out, but her brother wanted to see Happy Gilmore instead. When we got there, MTI was sold out. Guess what we wound up sitting through?
Whether MTI was really sold out though is a question I've never been too sure about though... Ah well, I suppose it was.

I had a choice between seeing MTI or John Woo's Broken Arrow. My girlfriend at the time was a huge Christian Slater fan, so we wound up seeing the Woo film, which was entertaining. Any movie with John Travolta as a psychotic pilot who happens to have a deadly missile at his disposal can't be all bad. Plus, it had the lovely Samantha Mathis and, as a bonus, Howie Long as Travolta's loyal sidekick.
