I was n the other room for the most part of the parade (surfing MC), but I kept an ear open for anything Muppety. I was able to see both the Big Bird and Super Grover balloons, plus the awesome Sesame Street float! Sadly, I never heard anything about a Kermit balloon, and wifey didn't say anything either so I guess my station didn't show him.

There's always next year though right? I was also surprised that Disney didn't have a Muppet float. Seems like with all the publicity they've been giving them lately that they woulda shown them off in this widely-seen parade.

The Kermit Balloon only appeared in the taped opening (taped off of last year).

While I did still enjoy the SS float and balloons, the rest seemed totally missing. I guess Disney didn't want to sponser the Kermit balloon so they could support their "jojo's Circus" balloon.

In short, rather than having a classic, world renowned, beloveed character like Kermit, they'd rather do advertising for a show like 5 people have heard of.

Just wish the Barney and Pikachu balloons would pop already.

HA! That's funny! The Barney balloon DID pop this year! His whole left leg was ripped open and dangling deflated. They tried their best to hide it from the camera, but that's pretty tough to do in high definition.
