Jerry Lewis’ annual Labor Day Telethon to raise money and awareness for Muscular Dystrophy will begin on Sunday, September 2 and will continue for 21.5-hours (ending on Monday, September 3).

It has been announced that The Muppets will be co-hosting a block of the telethon! Plus Bear (from Bear in the Big Blue House) will be performing sometime during the show.

We don't know exactly when the Muppets and Bear will appear nor do we know exactly what surprises they will bring with them. Check your local listings for times and channel.

Aside from the fact this is great news that we will get to see Muppets and Bear (yay! Maybe he can bring Tutter?) again, does it seem like a coincidence that Jerry Lewis is like mixing Jim Lewis with Jerry Juhl? That kind of combination can only bring good things!

Yay! So exciting! Telethons sound so fun, I've never watched one.

I wonder what time the muppets will be on... I have figured out how to tape things from my satillite dish yet :smile:
