Does anybody, particularly UK members, know of a large model Airport that toured shopping centers back in 1986, run by Capt Carney and his Air Hostess wife, Angela? The Airport featured 1000 cars and a 100 aircraft. It featured a celebrity car parade, which included the Muppets. Most of the celebrity cars were Corgy toys, but the Muppets were ones that I hadnt heard of before. There was a double decker bus with a group of Muppets on it and there was also Statler and Waldorf in there theatre box.I would like to find out who made these? He was retiring in 1986 and was going to donate the model to the RAF museum in London, but I enquired at the time and they knew nothing of it or of a Capt Carney.
