There is a very good season 2 episode of SNL hosted by Jack Burns, who was, of course, head writer for the first season of TMS, and part of the comedy team Burns & Schreiber. Prior to teaming with Schreiber, Burns was part of another comedy duo, Burns & Carlin. As in stand-up legend George Carlin, who hosted the very first episode of SNL.
