Some of my favorite sketches from season one of The Muppet Show were probably written by him, and The Muppet Movie was beautifully written from start to finish. Rest in peace, Jack.

In spite of his contributions to the Muppets, I believe he'll end up going down in infamy as the guy they brought in to try and replace Barney Fife on THE ANDY GRIFFITH SHOW.

Some of the reporting has been a bit odd, though. The Hollywood Reporter said he was a guest star alongside Avery Schreiber, while comicbook.com says he wrote 28 episodes between 1978 and 1979. Both have also stated he wrote the links for two of the Playhouse Muppet Videos. Is that right?
