I like that episode too. That was actually the first one I saw. (I received volume 2 before I received volume 1 AND I STILL DON'T HAVE VOLUME SIX, THOSE FREAKIN' IDIOTS AT TIME LIFE... Sorry, I'm getting off track here...) Anyway, I really enjoyed the Star Wars ep. I liked Gonzo's role as Derth Nader, Angus McGonagoggle, Mark imitating Kermit and Fozzie. I thought overall it was a great episode.

That was a great episode! One of my all time favourites.I especially loved the closing musical number of When You Wish Upon A Star, performed by all the Muppet Show characters.Plus C3PO's little dance. It was also neat how you saw Mark Hamill and his character Luke Skywalker standing side by side at the end.I know that can be done in movies by film overlapping. But I wonder how they managed to do that on The Muppet Show, since the show itself was videotaped?

The Muppet Show wasn't performed live, they did all kinds of special effects. Ever see the Brooke Shields episode? It's full of them.

Animal Jam, each member should have a unique avatar. It is confusing that you have the same avatar as Phil. I'm sure if you ask in the avatar thread, someone will send you a different Kermit avatar.

Yep. The Brooke Sheilds ep was really good. It must of took a lot of time and money to work on all those special effects. It's interesting to learn that Brooke herself actually worked on that ep.

Just a thought, would Lucas let them do that sort of thing now? I doubt it, what do you think?
Actually no, I don't think so.

Disregarding any of the (at that time) other future collaborations (Frank as Yoda and Lucas on Labyrinth), A New Hope was really a long-shot regarding its whole conception and production. Even though it made a huge impact (yeah, that's and understatement... :stick_out_tongue: ), the production practically ruined Lucas financially. That's why he "allowed" his characters to appear on various other shows, like for instance TMS. Another apperance known in Star Wars fan communities, that actually somewhat ridiculed the characters, was the Star Wars Christmas TV Special (I think) from around 1977. Cheaply made, and with a lousy plot, it only served to promote the characters, and hence the movie.

So all in all, I doubt Lucas would allow that happening again. He doesn't need that kind of "exposure" anymore to promote his movies.

Just my thoughts... And I pretty much find that whole episode camp, if you aske me. But actually, you didn't... So never mind, then...
