I was just wondering what your guesses are as to which Muppets will be on the covers of the next DVD releases?

Season 1 was obviously Kermit, and I have some guesses as to who might
be on the next few, but I would like to hear what other people come up with.

Season 3- Fozzie, fur and polka dot tie
Season 4- Gonzo, Purple tux, with blue hands holding top of bugle
Season 5- Rowlf

It's a bit irrelevent to us in the UK as we will most likely get another group shot. I have a feeling the curtain backdrop will be blue this time. Just a hunch.

I think each of the five main puppeteers should have a cover with one of their own characters, so since Jim got Kermit, it should be...
Fozzie for Season 2
Gonzo for Season 3
Floyd for Season 4
Scooter for Season 5

Oooo! That's actually a really great idea!

My guesses were pretty much the same as the majority of the answers given here:

2) Fozzy
3) Piggy
4) Gonzo

But who will be on the season 5 cover has bugged me a bit.
Rowlf never really felt like one of the main Muppets.
A lot of the main action (where the characters really got to build their personalities) of the show was the interactions back stage, but Rowlf didn't usually make it back stage. He only seemed to appear on stage, with his piano.

I also felt like Scooter wasn't really a major character. While he was back stage quite a bit, he didn't appear on stage that much.

These reasons are superfluous, but what it comes down to is it feels like these two characters weren't in the main focus of the show.

Just thinking about it now, perhaps Animal deserves to be on the cover of season 5.

Season Three-Miss Piggy with a silk purple dress
I don't understand what is up with Miss Piggy and her purple dress.
In the Muppet Show she was ALWAYS wearing a white dress, but her figure from Palisades had her in a purple dress.

When did she wear that dress, and why was it chosen for the figure?

You know, all the seasons may just be different artistic variations on Kermit...

I know that the cover on the Season 1 DVD is Kermit.
Here's my guess for the Season 2-5 DVD Covers:

2 - Fozzie
3 - Animal
4 - Gonzo
5 - Scooter
