i know its going to sound stupid asking but how did they make the muppets ride bikes?

was it remote controlled?

Not stupid at all! In fact, this is a very common question. Jim Henson explained how it was done in this episode of The Jim Henson Hour. He starts explaining around 11:29 into the video.

Yeah there's also some videos on Youtube of how they did it...and of course you can always read it at MuppetWiki. It was pretty fascinating and still amazes me to this day how they did it. But that's the genius of Jim Henson and his team. :jim:

OMG i remember this!! I made my mom inform me the moment it was on the television. It is still awesome.
