Muppet Reference on "The West Wing"

Okay.....so I'd never seen most of the episodes of Season 1 of the Muppet Show, so when I began watching it last week, for the first time I experienced Lydia the Tatooed Lady. Odd....but amusing.......

Anyway...to the point of my post......tonight I was watching "The West Wing" Season 3 DVD when CJ Cregg (WH Press Secretary) made mention of Lydia the dancing pig in what I assume was a reference to our lovely Lydia! Anyway....just thought it was amusing!

Yes, that does sound like a referece to that particular version is Lydia. I mean, the song has been done a hundred times, but they choose to reference ours, how cool is that!

And that was before our season sets were released...
