Excellent work Sylinde!! Thank you so much for creating this site. this is hands down my favorite Muppetsite (sorry, Phil).

For years I've been trying to put together a CD collection of EM songs and thanks to you I can finally do that (as well as tribute collections for each of the performers, so when I'm in a Richard Hunt mood, I can listen to him...or if I'm in a Frank Oz mood, I can listen to him.) Anyway, I'm so thrilled to be able to add 'Where you At?" to my EM cd.

Can't wait to get the rest of the TMS songs!

Thanks again!!!

I've started collecting Muppet Musique with a vengeance now.
It's wonderful. Thank you Sylinde and it's good to see your pretty fairy avatar back as well.

Just a quick note:  The "WOOT!" after he discusses BVD's is the voice of a very cool guy known as Scarecroe from the message boards (mostly over at Tough Pigs). He was sitting right beside me.

I have some pictures from that weekend. Maybe one day I'll put them online somewhere? In the meantime, this might work:
me, Brian & Matt after the Live Muppet Show:

With Charlie Rivkin:

I also have a People Magazine that featured the live show I ought to scan as well.

BOY! The Live Muppet Show was a fantastic program. Thanks for putting this back up and bringing back a LOT of memories.

If you haven't read the reviews and articles, be sure to go here while listening to all this:

There was also a British comedian there (that Gonzo booked for the show) who cracked me up with the line, "Who was the guy that discovered you could milk a cow, and what did he think he was doing at the time?"

Wow... *Long pleasant sigh.
The Muppet Show Live was such a blast.
Crazy Harry: Did someone say blast? *Ka-Boom! *Evil laughter.

And to think, I had no idea this took place when it did... My life was in a bit of turbulency, stomach operation in 2001 in August, and my first semester of Law School...
If there's a MuppetFest 2 in any way shape or form, I'll do my best to be there cause I don't want another chance to slip past now that I know of such a great time the original created.

There are a few spikes and glitches in some of the songs... They must've been running low on time to abridge the last two songs. And I noticed that there are two segments missing from the reviews of MF I've read here at MC: 1 when Brian Henson voiced and puppeteered the Newsman, a Muppet historical first since that's the only time he's done one of his dad's characters and; 2 when Rizzo came out with Claudia Black from Farscape at intermission asking if there was anyone at the show from MC and a bunch of the guys up in the balcony cheered in response.
Man... Said it before and will say it again, sign me up for MuppetFest 2 no matter how it takes place!

I agree. I was eleven when it happened, and I wasn't as in tune with the fan community as I am now. But if another one happens again... I wouldn't miss it for the world.
