Muppet Movie Studebaker toy?

I saw that Palisades Toys was making a number of figures and playsets based on The Muppet Show and the various Muppet movies, and I got my hopes up that finally they might put out a scale replica of Fozzie's Studebaker. It wasn't listed anywhere, so I emailed them and asked if there was any possibility of them making one, and they just replied that nothing in their database matched my request. I find it so frustrating that they never made some type of toy version of that car, at least not that I've ever heard of. Why won't anyone make it?

I asked for Muppet film die cast vehicles, but that was a different license to purchase. Besides that, they'd have to get licenses from the companies who own the rights to the likenesses of the vehicles to make them, I think. I forgot the details.

It's too bad that there are so many problems with producing this toy. I'm willing to bet it would be plenty of people who would buy it. I sure would.

I actually managed to visit the original vehicle at the Studebaker Museum last month. I was sad to see that it wasn't in very good shape. If anyone wants to see a picture, email me.
