It's probably not, but "I can't believe I fell for 'Muppet man'" sounds like a dig at that Henson bio screenplay. If it were to get made, I think a lot of execs would be saying the same thing.

I dunno about you, but that would be GREAT if it was intended. We keep hearing about this script not respecting the characters and a verbal fart joke... but that was like a dark, humorless version of a bad Robot Chicken sketch. A whiny little insult to the legacy of Jim Henson where the failures outnumber the successes because suffering = teh artz! Not ONE of the three major companies would have agreed to that script, and we'd have to see Karmat the Amphibian, Frobo Gaggle, the Beast that Consumes Pastries among other Things, and Schmozzie Schmear being created by chronically depressed Yim Yanson.
