Stars & Stripes (1m58s)
Habanera (1m24s)
Classical Chicken (1m32s)

All have been submitted by Buena Vista, and are directed by Peter Harris (at least according to the BBFC)

Anyone know what these might be?

"What does BBFC stand for?" :embarrassed:

Those are all of the YouTube videos uploaded last year. "Stars and Stripes" is on Sam's profile, "Habanera" is on Swedish Chef's, and "Classical Chicken" is on Gonzo's. Hope this helps.

British Board of Film Classification. The censor. All movies and video releases have to be passed by them before release. If they're certifying these, it must be for a DVD.

Thanks. Actually, Disney might be opening up Muppets.com to the overseas market. Sounds like that to me.

That wouldn't require the material to go past the BBFC, though - their remit is cinema and home video.

Interesting, isn't it  If TMS4 was coming this year, I'd have said these were for that.

Perhaps they're being cleared for next year then. Disney knows they need time to clear everything for TMS. And the inclusion of contemporary Muppet material on a classic DVD is in line with past practices, unfortunately.

It's not impossible, but it would be uncharacteristically early - the BBFC levies a charge to certify an item, so publishers tend not to do the clearances until the release is in its final stages of preparation so that if something goes wrong (eg an artist refusing permission, or music rights going awry) they haven't wasted time and money having something certified that then has to be either dropped or edited (the latter requiring resubmission and a second fee).

I guess if there is something coming we'll hear about it - and of course the main feature will turn up at the BBFC in due course.

The BBFC's work-list isn't a guarantee of a release, of course, but it can be a useful guide to what's in the pipeline

It does sound like Letters to Santa. However Disney ARE opening up a larger version of Disney XD to the UK and also starting up a Disney XD TV channel which will take the place of Jetix. So hopefully we might see some Muppets!
