Originally posted by MuppetDude: "But what about the other Storyteller episodes? Would they be counted since the JHH Storyteller episodes even though they were aired as a separate series?"

That's why I said that we should take it step-by-step. Let's take care of the stuff that was on JHH properly first. Then we'll move on to the Greek Myths, and then we might move into the TV series of the Storyteller.

BTW: I'm currently in the process of adding the characters already asked about and making a character guide with those descripts. However, there are some characters I have questions about and then there's the characters already listed which I'd need descripts for. To that end, I'm watching the episodes over again and putting everything into little piles. Will post when I'm ready with the questions and requests.
Hope this helps and have a good weekend.

Uh, TSF... Are those all the "Muppet" characters from those stories?
If so, I'd appreciate it if I could get descripts of the ones from The Heartless Giant, The Soldier and Death, The True Bride, and Sapsorrow.
Also need the human cast for those respective stories.
Noticed you're missing the Three Ravens from that group you posted.
BTW: Medusa's sisters, the two immortal Gorgons, are named Euryale and Sthenno.
BTW2: Still need an answer for whether the Squirrel and/or Badger from Sapsorrow can be considered Muppets in the sense that they were at least able to talk, if only by means of the Storyteller himself talking for them.
Hope to hear from you guys soon, will post what I got so far.

OK, finished watching the first six episodes of JHH, and here's what I still need help with.
Questions.
Science-Fiction:
Pinkaboo (JHH, from Space Guy, Louie Anderson)
It's not exactly a costume; Louie stuck his head through a hole in a wall, which was designed to look like the rabbit's body. His arms and legs were wire-controlled.
So, given this description, should this character be added to the list?
The War Bugs (JHH)
Where did these characters appear, episode and/or sketchwise?
Were they the ones in the reenactment of War and Peace from Science-Fiction?
If so, please provide a descript of these characters.
The War Bugs' War Correspondant (JHH, Chris Langham)
Where did this character appear, episode and/or sketchwise?
Did he appear in the reenactment of War and Peace from Science-Fiction?
If so, please provide a descript of these character.
Aquatic Life:
Who was the female fish with a Mae West voice in the "Splish, Splash" musical number?
She sang or spoke the lines: "He got out of his tub, he put his feet on the floor."
The ManEater Shark: Appears towards the end of the Extremes' musical number.
This is one of the generic grey Muppet sharks from TMS.
So, given this description, should this character be added to the list?
Monster Telethon:
Should the entry for "The Story of the Hat-Sharpening King: The Storyteller" be eliminated?
Should an entry for "The Story of the Hat-Sharpening King: The Subjects" be added?
If so, please provide descripts of the Subjects.
Dog City:
The Dog Director, this is the character that cues the Stunt Cat for his scenes.
There were three scenes involving the duo: the hammer, mattress, and steamroller scene.
Still need help with a descript and whether it should be added to the list.
The All Dog Network Announcer vs. Rover Cleveland
Still confused as to why they're two different characters based on voices alone.
Do you have anything in the credits to prove they're two different characters?
Rusty the Dog's Date, need a descript of this character.
She's the one who says that long hairs make Rusty cough, they'll just share a Diet Tabby.
The Sweeping Dog, appeared when Ace Yu's arguing with Quackers.
This scene takes place after Colleen's been dognapped by Bugsy Them's gang.
The Dog that gives the Meaning of the Word "Lost"
He appears during the car chase sequence, when Bugsy says he doesn't know the meaning of the word "lost".
Who are these last two characters?
If you can, provide descripts of them and whether they should be added to the list.

The Nature Documentary, need help with descripts of the characters who appear in this sketch.
Need help as to whether they should be added, and under what name they should be added.

Need a descript, whether he should be added, and the actor's name.
The Response-a-Matic TV Show.
There's a segment towards the end of the Ratings Game half of the show where Waldo tries to prove that standard ratings are old hat. He fixed the computer to automatically change the TV show according to what the viewers want to watch, updated to the last second.
1 This segment starts off with a Soap Opera mode, and there's an unknown female character.
She says to Link: "Don't worry darling, I'm sure once your sister learns it wasn't you who sabotaged the brakes on your mother's wheelchair, I'm sure she'll return."
Need help with a descript, if she should be added, and under what name she should be added.
2 The segment then switches to a game show where Gonzo pops up as Fred Dorfman to challenge Link who's the new champion.
3 The segment then switches into a police drama, where Link doesn't understand why he needs a gun to protect himself from enemy fire.
4 The segment then switches to a Star Trek parody, where the next two characters are from.

Actually the Green Frackle who looks like Boppity was known also as the host monster, the Dark Green Hunchback Frackle as the blue monster, and the Light Purple Monster as the Purple Monster.

OK, finished watching the second six episodes of JHH, and here are some other doubts I have.

Questions.
Health & Fitness:
The Story of the Talking Cabbage: The Talking Cabbage
Is "Old Cabbage Head" rully his name or is that just an affecionate nickname?
Given that the story's title is The Story of the Talking Cabbage, shouldn't the cabbage be refered to as "The Talking Cabbage"?
Musicians:
Flash's Groupies, still need a descript to add them to the list.
Sergeant Killer Death Machine, still need the name of the human actor who played him.
The Ghost Story's Hotel Owner, still need the name of the human actor who portrayed her.
Garbage:
The Little Girl appears towards the beginning when the Garbage Bags are at Muppet Central. Waldo says: "Demographics alert! Ratings crisis! Bad reaction from the pre-teen females." Kermit says: "What, little girls don't like garbage?" The Little Girl then shows up on a monitor and says: "Like garbage? Eew, yuck. Stinko garbage."
Hope this helps you locate her in order for descript purposes and whether she should be added.
The Fly, appears with the Garbage Bags at the beginning of the episode.
Should this be added as a new entry? If so, please provide a descript.
After the Story of the Colorless Birds, Kermit jumps back into Muppet Central and the Garbage Bags. There's one giving a speech, sounding like Winston Churchill.
Should this one be added as a new entry, separate from the rest of the Garbage Bags?
If so, please provide a descript of this character.
The Female Human Mother, still need the name of the person who portrayed her.
The Young Human Girl, still need the name of the person who portrayed her.
The Harris Thompson and Sludge Waste Management Expert.
Appears towards the end of the episode, need a descript to add him to the list.
Food:
The Average Consumer appears after the opening number, the Food Chain Song.
Waldo says: Kermit, bad news from the world of ratings. Ever since the song stopped, we've been losing our ratings share!" Kermit says: "Well, you're the demographic expert. Uh, what do you suggest?" This woman then appears on screen and says: "Well, isn't there a show that would have more of an appeal to the average consumer?"
Hope this helps you locate her in order for descript purposes and whether she should be added.
There's this character that shows up during the bit when Sheldon lands at the farm. He says: "Mmm, I didn't know grocery boys could fly."
Hope this helps you find it for descript purposes, and whether it should be added.
The Cafe Teria's Rat Maitre D', need a descript and whether it should be added.
Jacques Roach's Kitchen Assistants, need descripts and whether they should be added.
*Both of these can be found in the Luncheon with Link sketch.
The Vegetables, need a descript and whether they should be added.
*They sing the first four songs during the Let's Eat album infomercial, including Gouda Loving and Would You Like a Sprout Alfie?
The Singing Flowers, did these appear during the Food Chain Song?
If so, need a descript and whether they should be added.
There were some characters who showed up during both the Food Chain Song and the closing number I need help identifying. Please provide descripts and names for those that should be

Need descripts of all of the following, and the human cast of actors for each human role.
The Song of the Cloud Forest
The Uprights, here's the descript of the Uprights who aren't either Jack or Louise.
There were also the Imaginary Uprights: black scary-looking humanoid creatures that the animals viewed humans as. Where in the special did they show up?
Were these Uprights present during the musical number "They're Out There Munchin' For Us"?
Should they be listed as "The Imaginary Uprights"? Or as "The Uprights"?
Nick, other than Nick the Anaconda was there any other character from JHH with this name?
If so, please say in what episode and/or sketch he appeared.
If so, please provide a descript and whether it should be added to the list.

The Storyteller: The True Bride
The Storyteller: The True Bride
Anya, the True Bride
Should Anya be listed as just that? Or should she be listed as "Anya, the True Bride"?
The Gardener/Prince
How should Anya's love interest be added to the list?
As the Gardener? As the Gardener/Prince? As the Gardener Prince? Or as Anya's Beloved?
The Troll
The Trollip, the Troll's Daughter
The Townsman
The Townswoman
There were a few "Prisoners" in the Trollip's castle who shouted out as to how Anya's cries could go unheard of. Should these be added to the list?
If so, please provide descripts if possible, and the human actors' names.
The White Lion from Jim's segments appears in the story with a talking voice. Therefore, he won't be added to the group from this story since he's already listed properly. However, there was a statue of him towards the end of the story named the Thought Lion. Should there be an entry added for this statue known as the Thought Lion? Or should it be left off the list?

The Storyteller: Sapsorrow
The King
The Crier
The King's Men
Should the Crier be listed apart from or with the King's Men?
Sapsorrow
Sapsorrow's Bad Sister #1
Sapsorrow's Bad Sister #2
Straggletag, Sapsorrow's alternate identity when working for the Prince.
Should a separate entry for Straggletag be added or not?
The Prince
The Palace Kitchen Workers
There were at least three people in this group.
A woman, who could be the cook; a young adult man, appears when Straggletag's washing the dishes before the third dance; and a young boy, probably a servant.

Living with Dinosaurs
Dominick "Dom" Marshall
Lee, Dom's Father
Vicki, Dom's Mother
Adrian, Dom's Uncle
Victor, Dom's Cousin
Dom's School Teacher
Keith
Dog or Doug the Dinosaur

The Storyteller: The Three Ravens
The King
The Witch
The Silent Princess
Is this an appropriate denomination to include her in the list?
Prince #1
Prince #2
Prince #3
The Three Ravens
The Young Prince
Is this an appropriate denomination to include him in the list?
The Young Prince's Father
To differentiate from the first main King, should he be added to the list like this?
The Three Baby Princes

Garbage:
The Garbage Bags
Food:
The Screaming No-Nos.

Also need descripts of Beard, Flash, and the Female Drummer from Solid Foam.
Please post here if you guys can help finish off everything to complete the JHH additions to the master list. Thanks, and hope to hear from you guys soon.

I think so, since he becomes another character during the sketch.

The War Bugs (JHH)
Where did these characters appear, episode and/or sketchwise?

In "The Ratings Game" episode. They are "attacked" by a butterfly with a machine gun, and fire back. They are three chubby hand puppet worms (yellow, green, and orange) with beady eyes, and wearing army helmets.

Were they the ones in the reenactment of War and Peace from Science-Fiction?

No. The ones from the Science-Fiction episode were a group of Whatnots dressed as French, Russian, and German soldiers.

The War Bugs' War Correspondant (JHH, Chris Langham)
Where did this character appear, episode and/or sketchwise?
He appeared with the War Bugs (and eventually steps on them). I believe he wore a blue shirt, khaki shorts, and boots.

Did he appear in the reenactment of War and Peace from Science-Fiction?
No.

Aquatic Life:
Who was the female fish with a Mae West voice in the "Splish, Splash" musical number?
She sang or spoke the lines: "He got out of his tub, he put his feet on the floor."

That was a clam with eyes inside her shell. She could be counted as one of the "Sea Creatures".

The ManEater Shark: Appears towards the end of the Extremes' musical number.
This is one of the generic grey Muppet sharks from TMS.
So, given this description, should this character be added to the list?

I'd add him since his gimmick is a "Man-Eater"; he begins to chomp the male members of the Extremes.

Monster Telethon:
Should the entry for "The Story of the Hat-Sharpening King: The Storyteller" be eliminated?
I'm not sure; he's never seen.

Should an entry for "The Story of the Hat-Sharpening King: The Subjects" be added?
I guess so; they're a bunch of spare monsters, creatures, and animals dressed in medieval clothing.

Dog City:
The Dog Director, this is the character that cues the Stunt Cat for his scenes.
He's never seen.

There were three scenes involving the duo: the hammer, mattress, and steamroller scene.
Still need help with a descript and whether it should be added to the list.

One was a yellowish dog with saggy jowls, a black nose, and dark eyes. The other one was Mad Dog. Both were in casual clothing.

The All Dog Network Announcer vs. Rover Cleveland
Still confused as to why they're two different characters based on voices alone.
Do you have anything in the credits to prove they're two different characters?

No, but the Dog Announcer says that they've obtained footage (referring to other members of the crew) of the making of the movie, then go to the clip. Since Jerry Nelson was performing one of the dogs in the clip, then he could have done the Dog Announcer's voice as well for the same taping, but it seems that they decided to go with another performer.

Rusty the Dog's Date
A chow dog in a pink dress.

The Sweeping Dog
It's Mack the Dog Waiter, performed for some reason by Rickey Boyd.

This scene takes place after Colleen's been dognapped by Bugsy Them's gang.
The Dog that gives the Meaning of the Word "Lost"
He appears during the car chase sequence, when Bugsy says he doesn't know the meaning of the word "lost".

The dog who defines "Lost" is (surprisingly) Mad Dog!

The Ratings Game:
The Nature Documentary, need help with descripts of the characters who appear in this sketch.
Need help as to whether they should be added, and under what name they should be added.

I've already answered those.

The Man standing outside the Phonebooth: Appeared when Piggy was calling Muppet Central.
Need a descript, whether he should be added, and the actor's name.
He was Dan Redican dressed in what looks like "bum clothes". He could be added as "The Bum".

She's a female Whatnot with curly hair. She probably shouldn't be added. (But then again, she could be called "Link's Soap Opera Wife".)

4 The segment then switches to a Star Trek parody, where the next two characters are from.
The Saturnian, says "You mean you don't understand why you've violated Federation territory?"
The Crew Pig, says "Captain, the Saturnian has armed his raygun!"

The Saturnian (not sure where you got that name) is a humanoid Whatnot with reddish-brown hair. He wore a sort of marroon Star Trek outfit.
The other is an off-white big-nosed Whatnot with sleepy eyes and brown hair.

Monster Maker:
The Slerks, need descripts and whether they should be added.
They probably shouldn't be added; they're more like props for the movie.

Miss Piggy's Hollywood
Lars, still need the name of the actor who played him.
I don't know the name.

The Rodeo Drive Attendant, the man who was with George Wendt at the changing booths.
I don't know the name. He's a balding man with blackish-grey hair and moustache.

The Rodeo Drive Saleswoman, who tends to Piggy when she wants to buy the dress.
I don't know the name. I think she was a red-headed woman in a blue dress.

The Comedy Store Stand-Up Comedian, who proceeds Fozzie Bear.
A human, played by Dave Goelz.

The Comedy Store Auditioner, who calls for the next person to do their act.
I don't know who played him. It could've been Jim Lewis.

I will try and give you more descriptions in the future.

OK pal, just post 'em whenever you're ready. Frankly, I'm surprised to see you posting here today. Thought you wouldn't have access till tomorrow.
Well, thanks for the help so far. Keep in touch and post as soon as you're ready.
Anything else would be senseless.

BTW: Before I forget... The reason why I called the guy who shouts at Link the Saturnian is cause the crew member who speaks after him says that the Saturnians have armed their ray guns.
The guy I'm thinking of as a Saturnian sounded like Kevin Clash, using his Goriddle Gorilla voice which he used oftenly in JHH.
Might be this isn't a Saturnian after all. If not, how would you advise to add the two characters during this Star Trek parody from The Ratings Game?

Here's some descriptions:

The Extremes
Four cartoon-like characters with big hands, long arms, and Fraggle-like legs and feet. All four are wearing what looks like fuchsia tuxes.

The Purple Extreme is lavendar, with a flat head, a very big (and detailed) mouth, teeth, bulging eyes, and what looks like silver rocks on her head, plus several silver antennae.

The Yellow Extreme has a smaller mouth than the P.E., and a slightly slimmer head, and has an upper row of teeth, vertically-oval glasses (fuchsia, with the eyes in them), and spiky gray hair.

The Orange Extreme has a turned-down shout, baggy bulgy eyes, frizzy orange hair, and teeth on both jaws.

The Blue Extreme is the chubbiest of the group, with a double-chin, bulgy eyes, upper/lower teeth, and two horn-like projections with blue fur at the end of each.

Codzilla
Looks a bit like a lime green Godzilla, but his head looks like a fish's, with big lips, menacing yellow eyes, and a fin at the top. His body looks like a green, scaly Grover, with muscular arms, and a yellowish belly. He also has a tail.

Marty the Earthling (Chris Langham)
Chris is wearing a grayish-silver tux with long black lapels that reach to the navel. He also wears a marroon cummerbund.

Joe Beth GarfToohoo
A fuzzy brown creature in a bikini and tiara. She has an oval-shaped head, fuzzy feathers on her head and shoulders. Her eyes are round and baggy, with yellow eyes and slanted pupils. She has a huge mouth with orange lips, and several teeth (with two lower fangs), and a tongue that hangs out.

Zsa Zsa Porkmustard
A bunch of brown pieces of foam put together, with beady eyes and pink lips. She has several tinsel-like pieces on her.

Amanda
A blond girl.

Bootsie
She has blond hair (very much like Barbie's), and her eyes somewhat "bug out". She has an obvious overbite.

Brad
He has sculpted brown hair, a visible overbite, and wears a sweater.

The Space Lobsters
Basically a group of lobsters (like the Lobster Banditos).

Lobster Debbie
A lobster with red hair and (I think) earrings.

Timrek the Gorf, Oznog, Noel, Tigid
All of the Teppums look like their counterparts, but are wearing vaudevillian outfits, with Christmas bows on their straw hats.

The Orange Fish
Basically an orange fish, with stripes, and flat, hemispherical eyes.

Merlin's Assistant
A peach, pointy-nosed Whatnot with long, curly hair, and dressed as a damsel.

Scurvy
Gonzo dressed as a pirate, with a tri-corner hat and red/black striped shirt.

Jacques Roach
Has sleepy, baggy, hemispherical yellow eyes, long antenna, dirty chef's hat, neckerchief, apron, a cigarrette in his mouth, and a thin moustache and beard. (When he appears on JHAS as Yves, his cigarette and facial hair are removed.)

The Sheep
A white sheep with eyelids.

The Sea Creatures
Muppet clams, octopuses, fish, etc.

Rhonda
A peach Whatnot with curly blond hair, black/gold striped dress, necklace, sleepy teal eyelids, roundish small nose, and big red lips.

The Nylons
Shouldn't be counted. They are guest stars:
http://www.thenylons.com/default.asp

Monster Telethon: Host, Blue, Pink and Purple Monsters
I believe that all of them have appeared on TMS:

Monsterthon Host--a green version of Boppity, with a yellow-orange snout. His eyebrows are slightly "angrier" than Boppity's.

Blue Monster--alias "Dark Green Hunchback Frackle". He's a dark blue-green Frackle, and has a beak, six fangs, black eyebrows, and a muscular build.

Purple Monster--I refer to him as the "Elderly Frackle". He has a furry purple body, and brown three-fingered claws. His brown head is shaped like Boppity's, without the ears and fur. He has a pink mouth w/red tongue, black/white eyebrows, and thinning gray hair.

The Timecaster
A blue vertically-oval headed Whatnot with brown hair, a loud plaid suit, pink eyelids, and a pointy nose.

The Soap Opera: The Baby, The Husband, and The Wife

The Husband--a tall-headed tan Whatnot with yellowish hair, eyebrows, and moustache (no eyes). He has a long slim nose, and a brown suit.

The Wife--a purplish-pink Whatnot with curly white hair, a "drawbridge" mouth with small red lips, pink nose, earrings, and very sleepy eyelids. She wears a yellowish gown with a red sweater.

The Baby--wears a white bonnet, blue shirt, and white bib.

The Story of the Hat-Sharpening King: The Customer
Probably shouldn't be counted; she has a very small part in the script, and she's the "Ted" Muppet with a princess's hat. She could be counted with the rest of the villagers.

The Story of the Hat-Sharpening King: The King
A chubby green creature with pink horn-like things on his head. His eyes look like two fat worms with the white part and pupils showing. His bottom jaw is large, and is yellow with many wrinkles. He also has two bottom fangs. He has a big white moustache and a tuft of hair at the top of his head. In the story, he wore a red vest and white shirt.

The Story of the Hat-Sharpening King: The Stranger (Chris Langham)
He's dressed as a German soldier.

The All Dog Network Announcer
A yellow dog with a large snout and black/blue nose. He has baggy eyes, white hair, glasses, and a few lower teeth. He wore a brown suit.

Ace Yu
A brown dog with pointy ears, and angry eyes. He usually wears a red cap (not sure what kind I could call it), and gray suit. Under his hat he wears a pink bow.

Quackers, Ace Yu's toy duckie
A yellow duck in a sailor's suit.

Bubba the Bartender
The Irish Wolfhound puppet with some brown spots, taxidermist eyes, and dressed in a white shirt and black vest. He also has a few small teeth.

Bugsy Them

The Graffiti Guys: Blue Guy, Purple Guy, Girl, and Dog

Pink Guy--very thin; very "foam-looking", with a large overbite, blue triangular sunglasses, and four pink spikes on his head.

Blue Guy--has a big chin, wide eyes, and a triangular body. I can't remember him well.

Green Girl--has no eyes, (?)-colored pigtails, and a red/yellow zigzag body.

Orange Dog--has a zigzag-shaped muzzle (near the mouth), red nose, and jagged ears. He has no legs, but he does have feet.

Anthony Rudd
Looks sort of like a cockroach, but with the face similar to an onion. He wore a grey/brown suit, glasses, and small eyes, and curled antenna.

Fern Rudd
Looks like "the Creature from the Black Lagoon", with what looks like circular holes in the top of her head, exposing a "brain". She has a rim of green feathers around the back and sides of her head. She has large yellow eyes, sleepy pink eyelids, and large pink lips.

Bruno, Anthony and Fern Rudd's pet tarantula
Looks like the TMS tarantula, but the performer's head is the performer's head. It looks like the legs are stilts. Also, he has angry yellow eyes.

Chip
An oval-headed peach whatnot with a patch of brown curly hear at the top of his head. He wears a checkered jacket, red glasses, and has lidless eyes (with pupils that blink). He has an upper row of teeth.
(NOTE: He is also known as Lester Z'Dwango on MT.)

Ubu
An orange creature with a gorilla-like face, moving brows, lots of feathery blue hair, with some in a pigtail (at the top of his head). He wore a colorful shirt and vest.

Zondra
Has peach skin, oval head, fuzzy black hair, black eyelids, slender nose, and is very skinny. He wears a black dress, her hands and arms look as if they're wrapped in black tape. She has pins for earrings.

The Ultra-Gorgon
A very, VERY large half-made creature. He has wings, and his head is a purplish-brown color, with a turned-down snout. I think he had gills.

I'll tell you more later. I've gotta rest my wrists!
