Very odd collectible. production art of the Muppets made in the style of an animation cel

Looks alright for the standard style guide of Muppet characters in a vague cartoonish form. Personally, I'd rather have some sort of print collectible art by one of the Muppet Comic Book artists, Amy or Roger especially. Or better yet an ACTUAL animation cel from Muppet babies or Fraggle Rock or if any Little Muppet Monsters ones survived.

It's good to see new Muppet items come through Disney. I'll pass on this because it's mostly items from the Muppet licensing book traced and painted for a limited edition non-production cel. I don't collect non production animation art and the Miss Piggy in this looks pretty bad. Still, it's nice to see this floating around. Very interesting!

I agree... it's cute, but not $125-300+ cute. I don't even think it's worth the ink to print it out and hang it on the wall. I'd much rather something that actually resembles and animation cel or has some clever artistic spin in it (again, they could easily have commissioned any of the comic book artists to do something). I do like the Goofy hat on Fozzie, but I really wish there would be something that better blends the 2... I'd pay money for an official collectible print of Donald shooting Gonzo out of a cannon, or Goofy slipping on a banana peel dropped by the Chef.

It looks stiff like it should be one of those pin sets they do. An animation cel should be much more dynamic.
