I know, the Peter Ustinov episode is one of Season 1's best, isn't it? (casts a knowing glance in Richard's direction) And not just because we can hear a certain Muppeteer laughing like the proverbial hyena off-camera during numerous sketches.
Richard: (trying to look innocent) Would I know who this Muppeteer is?
M.N.: From the sounds of it, my dear Richard, you were laying an egg so large it could have stemmed the famine in Ethiopia.
Richard: Well, I do crack myself up from time to time.
You know, I've been looking for that. Is there any particular sketch in that episode? I half watched the whole thing and I couldn't find it. Daresay I was only paying a quarter attention as I half-watched the whole thing (What?) but I couldn't find it. I thought I heard something when Fozzie and Peter were the graduates, but I can't be sure. Any of you remember?
RL: OH yeah!! I heard little snippets throughout the episode. But during two different sketches: Robot Politicon was one of them. But during the Graduates...it was clearly heard. XD *snuggles her Scooter doll* I can't sleep...maybe Scooter'll help me get to sleep. *turns over to sleep fitfully on the couch, holding the doll in her arms.*
I heard lots of cackling when Fozzie and Peter were doing their lecture on "post-Dickensian...whatever it is."
But if you really want to hear Richard lose it, watch the episode with Valerie Harper, and stay alert during the Swedish Chef skit (the one with the Japanese cake). You can hear him loud and clear, and as an added bonus, for a split second by the Chef's left elbow, you can see the top of Richard's head.
Uh...I'll check. *Looks under big mound of computer files marked 'Too Lazy To Complete'* Ah here it is. Perhaps I'll get to it. *Puts in 'Will Probably Forget to Get To' big mound*
