Hi All,
I am really excited about all these new muppet figures that are coming out. I have Bunsen, and I'm hoping to get beaker and the lab playset. Anyway, I wanted to ask if any of you know which is the best place to get them? I got Bunsen on E-bay for $15.00 which was outrageous, but I didn't know where else to get him. Someone told me that buying the figures off ebay is bad. Is that true? I am planning on getting most of them, but I don't want to continue buying them on E-bay. Our Toys R Us doesn't have all of them, but they have some. I'm going to buy the ones they do have as soon as I get a chance to go there. Any help is appreciated! Thanks,

Jake

There are a lot of places where I have found them:

Toys R Us was the first to get the Kermit/Piggy/Bunsen/Teeth line, but it seems that is all they have got thus far. I only saw the Bunsen/Teeth figures there once and they were gone the next day, so I had to get them at a local comic shop for about $9 apiece. A few weeks ago I picked up the second wave (Gonzo/Fozzie, etc) at Electronics Boutique at the mall, $7 for the figures and $19 for the Electric Mayhem/Animal playset. Also, I saw an entire row of the exclusive Vacation Fozzie at Media Play.

By far Electronics Boutique had the largest selection, with about 15 of each of the figures of the second wave. You also might want to look in a Software Etc. too, they tend to get the 'special interest line' figures (Muppets, Final Fantasy, Gamepro) sooner than other stores (with the exception of the Star Wars line). Plus, they cost less at stores like E.B. and Software Etc. than from places like eBay or a comic shop (which are going to gorge you anyway).

I hope this helps somewhat...

I have ordered all of my figures from EB online. I have had good fortune with that. Good prices and ship times are pretty short. If you don't mind not picking out what figure you want, this is the best way. Gaurantees you get what you want!
