Hey Everyone,
I was just doing a search on some of the toy websites, and found that etoys has a bunch of their Palisades Muppets figures on sale: Sam, Rizzo, Link, Strangepork, and Crazy Harry are each only $2.99.

I thought that this might be a good opportunity to give to "Toys for Tots" (or another organization) as well as help our favorite toymakers. And better yet I have a coupon code to get 10% off of your purchase.

The code is: ETINSERT

...And even better, if you spend $99 or more, the shipping is free. I figured it out and for approximately $110 you can give 40...yes 40 Muppet figures to "Toys for Tots" or your favorite local organization. Now I know that's alot of money, but remember, anything you can give, even one toy is great. Just a thought.

I believe so, it's a generic coupon that came with a 1-800-Flowers order. And Wiggy..this is for the children, not for cheap customizing fodder. :attitude:

Whats with that remark? It's a sale on a web site and I can buy things for whatever reason I like. I do plenty of charity work with my school and when ever I have some extra cash I give to my schools various charity drives. I think I should be able to buy one freaking Rizzo on sale for myself and not have someone make me feel guilty.

I hadn't planned on buying the Pigs In Space figures but for this price I might just do it.

Me confused.

So how does this work? If we buy the figures, are we buying them for ourselves or do they go straight to the Toys for Tots drive? And if we do end up buying them for ourselves, what would the contribution to the drive then be?
Please help and have a good night.

Count,
I think Artie is saying that it would be a good way to buy muppets cheap, so that we could donate them ourselves to Toys for Tots or another chairity. Thus donating, and helping out palisades.

It is like buying off toyrus.com or any other site. You are buying the figures for yourself. But it would also make a good gift to a child. It is your option to keep them, or donate them.

as you would say, Hope this helps.

Actually, and certainly not to speak for Artie, but I think he was joking around. In fact I'd bet money on it. Wiggy in this case I believe read the intent the wrong way and considered it a jab when it was, in fact, not at all.

Great info Artie. Thanks! Picked up a few for holiday gift-giving.
