Ok i have the dvd but for the life of me i cant remember what they edited out from the original. I had it taped from it's original airing but i lost the tape when i went to college.

And secondly why did they edit the movie? That's the first time i've ever heard of a movie being released in the dvd format and being short. normally they are longer because they throw stuff back in.

thanks, i can remember some but i was all of 5 when the special aired so some are a bit more blurry

Mark Pethick's A Muppety Christmas site has all the cut scenes available to download. It's not a complete cut of the show, but at least it's something to serve as filler for what you're missing.
