Hmmm. Bunsen's potions, you say? That's something I've got to investigate. Might go well with the ghoulish punch already planned for the party. There'll be Figgy Fizz soda, and a special punch I'm brewing in the witch's cauldron we borrowed for the festivities, but maybe it'd be worth getting some of Bunsen's potions too. Our guests should have a well-balanced and varied selection of choices to drink from when they come to the party on the 31st weekend.

Oh man! What a mess! Well, what happened was that last night or early this morning while it was still dark, I needed a small snack so I went to get a couple of chocolate skulls from the fridge. Unfortunately, the jar of juice fell and spilled all over the floor. But luckily for me, Beauregard was able to come and clean it up, (the Muppet and not the MC forum member that is.) And after watching my morning shows and excusing myself with Beauregard for the mess, I came out of my room to have the lunch my mom sent me, a big plate of "serenata." For those of you who don't know, this dish consists of boiled codfish with vegetables and tubers and halved hardboiled eggs. The tubers usually include "yautias", "yucca" and "batatas". Though they may be called sweet potatoes in English, we call them "batatas" or "batatas blancas" in Spanish. A literal translation, "batatas amarillas" or "batatas naranjas" or "batatas dulces" is reserved for the translation of yams from one language to the other. Confusing? You bet! Think there's some leftover and in the fridge, but if Rizzo wants it, he's welcome to have it.

Oh, by the by, did anyone catch today's episode of XMen Evolution? So cool to finally see them start to encroach on the storyline involving Apocalypse, the mutant. Uh, if anyone could, please describe what the Horsemen looked like. Might be able to use those ideas for future Numborgs. It's been an eventful day, and I still have to work on my figure display and take photographic evidence of everything that's in my collection for future showing. And oh yeah, have a haunted weekend! The party's in two weeks, so start picking out your costumes, and have fun choosing what creatures or beings you'll end up dressing as!

Glad to see you enjoyed it. BTW: That reminds me, I got this barrel of apples stashed away in a cupboard or cubby hole in the common room. Need someone to help me test them to see if they're OK, and I know how you like apples from your pi-rat-ing days. Let me know when you're available, and I'll open up the barrel Riz.

Fatten you up so as to feed you, Rizzo, to an ogre? Perish the thought!! Just asking if you wanted to help me out by taste testing the apples we're going to use for the "Bobbing for Apples" game at the party in a couple of weeks. Speaking of which, Kyle, I'm gonna need some help from that zombie sleeping under your bed to install the spider chandeliers. LMK when he wakes up so as to complete the job and maybe put up a few snake streamers along the top borders of the walls.

Thanks for the heads up, Kyle. Though we should be careful it's just that, wait! Was that a head off rolling by too? Oh, it probably belongs to the Horseman who put in a momentary rest before taking up his nightly course on the way to Sleepy Hollow. OK, Tombs, I need you to install that spider chandelier in the common room and put up a few snake streamers along the borders of the walls. Actually, wait a second on that, I think both decorations would look better in the lobby. We've neglected that part of the dormhouse far too long, it needs to be included in the festivities as well. OK, now that you've got your work I'll send Bella to supervise while I go back to working on ML 9.0.

Oh, and Kyle, hope we get to hear about the Monsters' trip to Vegas tomorrow. Hopefully they didn't suffer any slash wounds from rampaging tigers.
