Muppet College Roommates

Oh no, GonzoGirl, you're not steppin' on anyone's toes. Just commented out loud that I wasn't sure if it wouldn't be better to do what we did when the mad rush to sign up at the dormhouse started all over again. If you go back to the first two pages of this thread, you'll see what I mean. Fozzie Bear, the forum member wanted to have Janice as a roommate and said so in what we thought to be the mere hypothetical stating of Muppet roommate choice. But then Anathema (another forum member) quickly posted that Janice was already taken as a roommate, and thus the thread started to change from mere hypothetical partnering to quasi-real dormhouse construction and registry. That's the reasoning behind what I explained to a few people who've posted here lately as being behind the thread's inception. And I don't think we should move the discussion to another thread, splitting this one's focus. Let's just keep having fun and hope that more people will come in and want to sign up as new boarders at the Muppet College Dormhouse.

I agree w/ u Ed. I don't think we should brake this thread up just because other people can't make up there mind of what Muppet they want. I think once in a while that the first People that made this thread should at least come on and visit w/ us. It makes me think that since They never come on and write for there Muppet roommates they shouldn't be able to room w/ them. I don't want to seem rude but how would u like it if someone picked a Muppet that someone else picked and they never use them in that thread. Sorry If I'm going on and on but I'm about to make a Thread that tells u if ur not on theard expect for the first couple of pages then u don't ever own that Muppet character. I'll see what happens and if nothing happens w/ the thread then I'll leave it like that. Is that fair for everyone else? If so post on my other post. Please don't think that I'm trying to tell everyone else that picked those characters they shouldn't keep them but if they don't say anything about that they want that character to be their Muppet Room Mate then they have better say so.

Okay..I finally had a chance to skim the first few pages of this thread, and understand much better where you are coming from! Splitting the thread is probably not that great of an idea-it was just a thought that filtered into my head to make it easier on newcomers and the pre-existing dorm members. The only thing I am worried about is the fact that I don't role play all that well-I have been trying to learn from you guys and bring Hoggle and Didymus more into my posts, but I just don't have much of a knack for it...
Now, if you'll pardon me, I need to dust off my long-neglected baseball glove and head out...but perhaps I will have time to meet you at the library before we go to the restaurant!

Sounds like a plan GonzoGirl. And don't worry about your RPG skills, you're doing quite well within this ol' thread's fun nature. Besides, what happens here in this thread and conversely in the world we've created around the Muppet College Dormhouse's environment are of a quasi-realistic nature. For example, if you go to class on Monday and hook up to read through the latest posts from the campus computer like I do, you can come in and say so thus integrating it into the goings-on.

Kyle, I have to respectfully disagree with what you're proposing for the earlier boarders' Muppet roommates. The character that forum member chose to bunk with when they signed up for registry here at the dormhouse was/is the Muppet character they wanted to have. Whether they come in and interact with us shouldn't determine if they stay logged with that Muppet character. That's the pairings that checked in and signed the registry at the dormhouse, thus making them roommates. Yes, it would be nice if they came in once and again, but they shouldn't be penalized for their non-interaction. And I should know about those earlier boarders, since I was the first one who replied to Janice&MokeyMan's original query when this thread began!

So, that's a big NO on removing the duos who've taken up residency here at the dormhouse who don't interact that much with us nowadays, keep it as is and let the newbies choose a new character if they're rully that interested in becoming part of the dorms.

OK GonzoGirl, LMK when you get here. Mokey's helping me with a new Numborg, #45 to be precise. As for that other one I told you about the other day? Finished that one, though I turned it into a female in the end.
And I'll probably be going over some more of my figure collection photos, but they'll be ready to show in a while. Now where are Kyle and Aaron? Hmmm, wonder if Grover will save us a place when we finally decide to head on over to Charlie's. And what could Cookie and Herry be up to?

Hey Aaron. Theres nothing to do when it rains. Our game was cancel. This is a habit always wanting to do stuff but when want to do it u can't because of something else comes up. Would u like to go to the library, Aaron? Theres really nothing for us here to do.

It's raining? Have there been any thunderclaps and/or lightning bolts? Oh, I'll drop everything and press my face to the library's cubicle's outside-looking window and count them with rapture.
That's the 1 thing I can always count on to make me instantly happy; a good thunderstorm with plenty of thunderclaps and lightningbolts for me to count.
