Beaker:
*On the branch where Alex's swing hangs*
Meeee meeee meeee!
Meee meee meee meeeee...
Mee-mee-mee-mee!
*Serenades*

---

Claudia:
He's at it again.

Bunsen:
He always did have a lovely singing voice though.
So, that makes up for any mess-ups. Such as falling off the
tree...probably getting electrified if it starts to rain...*Continues
guessing*

Claudia:
That's not nice.

Bunsen:
Yes, you are right.
I'll just entertain myself by
bothering you.

Claudia:
What do you mean?

Bunsen:
*Points to a collection of inventions*

Claudia:
Meep?
*Frowns*

Dr. Van Neuter:
*Sleeping*

Link: *whiney voice* Ryyyyyyyan! I'm so bored!
Ryan: Sorry Link, but I have an Algebra test to study for, I can't entertain you right now.
Link: But that's the same thing everyone else said.
Ryan: Everyone else has Algrebra tests?
Link: Uh huh!
Ryan: *mutters* Or it's just a really good excuse...
Link: What?
Ryan: *ahem* If you'll excuse me Link, I need to study...
Link: *grabs Ryan and shakes him back and forth* Pleeeeeeeeeeeease Ryan!
Ryan: Gah! Okay, fine! If I watch a movie with you will you quit bugging me?
Link: *sniff* For now.
Ryan: Sheesh... alright, pick out a movie.

(Don and Johnny burst through the door into Ryan's room)

Don: So.. whatcha watchin'?
Johnny: (making himself comfortable) Got any popcorn?
Don: I know you were planning on inviting us, but you probably figured we'd be busy.. what, with me being so outrageously popular, and Johnny.. well, usually spending the weekends with his mom...
Johnny: He means me being so outrageously popular and him always working on sounds that are so bad I wouldn't even let Sal sing them..
Don: Everyone's gone mad in our room!
Johnny: All upside-down, walking on their hands.. been that was for hours now!
Don: So, as you can see, we're both free tonight..
Johnny: Unless you want to pay us, that is..
Don: (Bewildered) What?
Johnny: Forget it.. any word on that popcorn?

You know... Sis makes for a rather nice vamp hanging upside-down like that. Heh... *Small evil chuckle. Wait until it strikes midnight and the month of monsters begins tomorrow. Then my plans will take a hold of this grand dorms and all it's residents... *Starts laughing maniacally a little louder.
UD: Could you please keep it down? We have a new chapter of KG we're trying to enjoy.
Really? Ooh, lemme read it too!
UD: And we have to get down to Nelson Square for the reading tomorrow, we found a true gem of literature fit for the event.
Count: And it even has the feel of our shows back at Sesame Street.

Claudia:
*Draws Eddie's character as she hangs*

Bunsen:
*Begins to time her*

Claudia:
Aren't you going to let me go?

Bunsen:
Mmm..in a little bit.

Claudia:
Wait--until I pass out?

Bunsen:
Yes.
I am testing to see how long
you can remain concious before
your little world turns pitch black.

Claudia:
*Grabs him by the collar roughly*
*Growls*

Bunsen:
I have changed my mind.
You have such a tendency to...
convince me.
*Chuckles nervously*

Claudia:
This scene is like something out of a Horror movie...

Bunsen:
October is coming?
Already?
Ah, how the days go by!

Claudia:
I know!

Bunsen:
*Presses the button on is remote, the wire around her ankle loosens*

Claudia:
EEEE!
*Lands on her bed*

Bunsen:
*Fiddles with a cord*
Er...tea?

Kim: Ah, that's right. It's going to be October in four hours.
Boober: Oh, no.
Mimzy: What's the matter with October?
Tosh: *giggling* Nothing, unless you're Boober.
Boober: I heard that, Tosh.
Kim: Guys, do you want me to send you to your bunks?
Gillis: October is the month that the Silly Creatures have a holiday called "Halloween". Silly Creature children get dressed up as other Silly Creatures, go around to other Silly Creatures' houses and get candy.
Tosh: And we get to dress up, too!
Boober: It's also the scariest Silly Creature holiday of them all, worse than Friday the thirteenth! They spend the whole month trying to scare themselves or each other, and for no reason! They don't even have beluviouses!
Kim: Yeah, but that's the fun part!
Boober: I also forgot to mention that it's when she *points to Kim* really gets into her obsession with ghosts and haunted places.
Kim: Hey, blame it on Hauntober Fest, 13 Nights of Halloween and the Travel Channel. Which reminds me, I still have that Ghost Hunters DVD I got through interlibrary loan...
Tosh: I'll get the popcorn!
Mimzy: Wow. This October sounds really interesting.
Boober: *sighs and shakes his head in resignation*

Erin: (looking up) Claudia, what are you doing on the ceiling? Has gravity reversed itself or something?
Scooter: Maybe she's turning into a vampire.
Erin: In which case we'll have to start wearing high-collared shirts all the time.
Storyteller: Mmm, yes...and it's October tomorrow. The banned books reading, falling leaves...and Halloween.
Beige: Is it true what Boober said? About Silly Creatures running around trying to scare each other and getting candy and all that?
Scooter: That's pretty much it, yeah. But it's all for fun.
Erin: Last year, we did a literary haunted house - rigged all our rooms up to resemble scenes from scary books. We could do that again this year, or maybe try something new...
Scooter: We used to rig up the whole house like a graveyard, and set up fake gravestones and tombs with the names of dead famous people on them.
Nora: But are we still going to invite everyone in for punch and ice cream and truffles and everything?
Erin: Of course. When they come trick-or-treating, we don't skimp on the treats.
Beige: You know, around that time of year, my mom used to make Fear Cakes - it's an old tradition, you make a bunch of little cakes, you write your fears on them in icing, and when you eat them up you're supposed to be eating your fears as well.
Erin: Cool...did she leave a recipe or anything? We'll have to try those.
Storyteller: And may I point out that tomorrow is only the first of October, so you'll have all month to plan, and no point ruining your vocal cords on it tonight. (looks at clock) Besides, it's 10:30 and a school night.
Scooter: Aw, come on, Storyteller, we're not tired.
Nora: Yeah, can we stay up a bit longer?

(up in heaven)

Jim: Storyteller really takes her role as den mother seriously.
Richard: Well, she's the oldest one in the bunch. Go figure.
Jim: I was listening to what Scooter said about setting up tombs and graves for famous people - remember those nice tombstones they gave us that one year?
Richard: (chuckle) And J.P. Grosse tripped over mine in the dark, on his way to the kitchen.
