Morning Count,hope all is well with you.I slept well myself,and I'm good at the moment.Planning something this weekend,that's great.I hope those guys have told you,that my birthday is April 1,if they're with you(coming up with some plan for a celebration).I have no plans for the weekend thus far.I'm still reading my library books.I'm finding the CSI companion book facinating.I've always loved television shows about forensics,detectives & medicine,M*A*S*H is still my favorite tv show.I love shows like: CSI,ER,Quincy,Columbo,Matlock;just to name a few.Good luck with your studying & your exams.I know you'll do an excellent job on them.Take care.JaniceFerSure/Diana

Dee: <thinking> I wonder what they are up to. Gonna wear my best green for St. Patty's Day today.Happy St. Patrick's Day to everyone here at the dorms.I baked some holiday cookies for today,placed them all in festive baskets and put them outside of your dorm room door.I'm going to cook lamb stew,and some other Irish food for tonight.If anybody would like to have some,It'll be in the 3rd floor common room,set up buffet style.<hanging up green tracking lights around #33 room door & a Happy St. Patrick's Day sign in the lobby>

*hears Oscar's trash can lid open*

Oscar: *reading sign* Happy St. Patrick's Day! Happy?! Yuck!

Dee: Well Oscar,you might not celebrate St. Patty's Day;but those of us here in the dorms that want to be festive should be able to,thank you very much.Here's a nice green bowler hat for you.<put hat on Oscar's head & kisses him>

Oscar: Hey,get this thing off my head.

Dee: I can't Oscar,you've been kissed under a 4-leaf clover.You have to wear that hat all day now.<Dee starts to walk back to her room>

Oscar: Yuck!<slams lid> *from inside can,Dee can hear* How did she know that green is my favorite color,next to muddy brown of course..Say,this hat is me,you think?

Red: Do I have to wear green today? You know red and yellow is more my thing.
Me: Nah, you're not Irish, you're a Fraggle. But you can still join in on the fun. Now I'm only a small amount Irish, but today I'm proud of the amount that I have!
Red: Good for you!
Me: So did you hear that Dee is setting up an Irish feast up on 3rd floor later today? We should go and enjoy some traditional Irish food.
Red: That sounds like fun! So I've been hearing some rumblings of a surprise going on around the dorms this weekend.
Me: Hmm, that could be interesting. Don't have much planned for this weekend, so we'll have to see what happens! Anyway, I'm off to work. I will see you later today!
*walks out door, heads to lobby, sees Scooter*
Me: Hey Scooter, tell Christy I hope she's feeling better today! I had three colds this winter so I know how she feels!

Hey guys, here from college campus. Top o' the morning to ya.
Woo-hoo, faith and begora. Wore my Emerald green shirt today for St. Patrick's Day.
Course, I'm interested in getting back home to the dorms and finding out about the happenings on Congress with all the MLB players and personel.

Hey D, that sounds great you're having an Irish luncheon later tonight. Hope Shepard's pie will be made, haven't had that in a long time. Could help contributing some green iced tea to the festivities, along with some mint cookies or mint chocolate chip ice cream.
Didn't know you were an April Fool though, bet you get lots of jokes/pranks on your B-dDay cause of that. We'll have to have some celebration then indeed.
As for the surprise this weekend, I hope to get the Monsters involved and maybe Oscar if Kyle makes him. *Light chuckle*
All I'm saying about it for now is that it'll be as colorful as a spring rainbow.

Hope this tides you guys over till the weekend. Gonna see about doing some errands later.

Hey, before I forget. Congrats go out to Christyb on becoming a Senior Member! We told you you'd get there. Too bad the hottubs are gone, or I'd have made a bathrobe for you. Still haven't heard back from Phillip on whether a Seniors Lounge could be started though. Oh well, that's something for another day.

Hello everyone! Sorry I've been away so long. Shoot, I can't even promise that I'm back for good. School is really movin' right along and it's all pretty intense. That's what I get for enrolling in an accellerated program. I'm acing my grad courses so far but everything is really fast-paced. I hope everyone's doing okay...I miss my forum chums! From what I hear Link is pretty lonely, too.

Link: I've got my thumbs to keep me company.

Me: True to form, good buddy. You haven't lost your charm.

(By the way, Beauregard, I'm jealous of your avatar! I never had any luck finding a decent Link pic )

Well, yes and no. Got the batteries, mouthwash, and MO. But now I need to prep the MO and batteries, along with the credit card payment, and send that all out in the mail tomorrow.
Count: "So, that's 1 less point of the agenda to vorry about."
Yes, my friend and about a dozen or so left.

Well, I'll be leaving in a few ticks, gonna have pizza with my family for late lunch. Have a great St. Patrick's Day here at the dorms!
